Chelsea are trying to include Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho as a possible replacement for Eden Hazzard if he moves to Real Madrid, according to reports. He raised new speculation about his future this week by revealing he had already made a decision on whether to leave Chelsea at the end of the season.

He had made two statements two days ago in which he confirmed he had made his final decision whether to continue or leave Chelsea, while the Blues knew his final decision to leave Stanford Bridge, although he had not yet made the decision.

Chelsea are forced to make a decision as Belgian international Hazard will have only one year on his contract this summer. But reports claim that Chelsea will ask for more than £ 100 million for the 28-year-old. Chelsea have already secured the signing of Christian Pulisic in a deal worth 58 million pounds from Borussia Dortmund.

But according to the Independent, Chelsea are also watching Coutinho for a move in the summer. The Brazilian international has struggled to make a big impact at Camp Nou since moving from Liverpool before 142 million dollars and he and Dembele are competing for the same position. Reports in Spain claimed the 26-year-old would set up his options at the end of the season.

When asked about the possibility of leaving Barcelona, Coutinho said in an interview with BEIN Sports last week: ‘No one knows what will happen in the future.
