Manchester City won the Premier League title after beating Brighton 4-1 in the 38th and final round of the tournament.

City have raised 98 points to stay ahead of Liverpool, who beat Wolverhampton 2-0.

Brighton opened the scoring in the 27th minute by Glenn Murray, but did not take the lead for just a minute, after Sergio Aguero equalized for City.

Emeric Laporte added the second goal to City in the 38th minute, and Algerian star Riad Mehrez boosted the lead with a third goal in the 63rd minute, and Elkay Gounogan finished in the 72nd minute.

This is the sixth time that Manchester City have crowned the English Premier League, and crowned the second consecutive season to be the first team to repeat Manchester United in winning the title in 2009 for the third consecutive season.
