Chelsea manager Maurizio Sari has told his club management he wants to leave and return to Italy, where he is expected to take charge of Juventus the league champion in the last eight seasons, newspaper reports said on Saturday.

The London club signed with Sari in the summer of last year from Napoli and led him to finish the season in third place in the Premier League and ensure the Champions League before he crowned the Europa League on Wednesday. Arsenal’s 4-1 win over Arsenal in the final hosted by Baku.

The 60-year-old Sari has recently been linked to the return to Italy to take charge of Juventus’s technical management, succeeding Massimiliano Allegri who left at the end of the 2018-2019 season.
