Olivier Giroud has officially renewed his contract with Chelsea for one season.
Giroud wore the Blues jersey from Arsenal in January 2018 and managed to leave his mark with the London club, especially in the Europa League this season. His 10 goals in his 13 matches helped the team reach the final.

“I am very happy to sign the new contract,” the player told Chelsea’s official website after signing his new contract.
“I really wanted to stay for another season. I felt from the start that I was part of the team and the family, and I hope we will win more titles.”
Chelsea will face Arsenal in the Europa League final on May 29 in Baku, Azerbaijan. The player wanted to win at the expense of his former team, who wore his shirt for five and a half years.
