Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be a Milan player again in the 2020-21 season after signing a new contract with the Serie A club.
The 38-year-old striker who first signed for Milan in 2010 and won a Serie A title that season, rejoined the side from Los Angeles Galaxy in January and netted 11 goals in 20 appearances, helping the seven-time European champions arrest slump and bounce back from a poor first half of last season.

The well-traveled star has also starred for Inter Milan and Juventus in Italy and played for Manchester United in the Premier League and Paris Saint-Germain in France.
In an earlier interview, Ibrahimovic noted that he wanted to help Milan “return to where they belong”. “For six months, we have done great things but we have not won anything. We must continue and do the same,” he said.
Ibrahimovic re-joined his team-mates for training at Milanello Sports Center before his new deal, that runs until June 30 next year, was confirmed later in the day.

One of the best strikers of his generation, Ibrahimovic spent two years with Milan earlier in his distinguished career, a stint that included securing the Serie A title in 2011.
He moved on to Paris Saint-Germain the following year and then had spells with Manchester United and LA Galaxy before opting to return to Italy.
His decision to continue at Milan is a boost for head coach Stefano Pioli, who signed a contract extension in July following a strong finish to the season.
