REAL MADRID are ready to let Gareth Bale leave for £22million, Spanish reports say.
The 31-year-old has grown increasingly frustrated in the Spanish capital, managing only 14 starts last season.
The Welshman had been subjected to ridicule by Los Blancos coach, Zinedine Zidane, but he has responded in kind when the need has arrived.
Real Madrid have reportedly slashed their asking price for Gareth Bale to just £22m in an attempt to offload him this summer.
Manager Zinedine Zidane has told Bale that he does not feature in his plans for the upcoming season after the Welshman was reduced to mostly a watching brief for much of last term.
Bale recently confirmed that he was close to leaving Madrid for the Chinese Super League last summer only for the club to make it “very difficult” to do so.
Madrid are also understood to have rejected an £89m approach from a Premier League team last year, but Mundo Deportivo claims that they are now willing to accept less than a quarter of that fee.
Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are thought to be leading the race for his signature and could be tempted into a summer move given the reduced fee.
