Manchester United seal second January transfer
Manchester United have announced the loan signing of striker Wout Weghorst from Burnley until the end of the season.
The Dutch forward, who is known for his consistent goalscoring record across several European leagues, will join the club to add a further dimension to the squad under the management of Erik ten Hag.
Manchester United Football Director, John Murtough, said that they were attracted to Weghorst not only for his strong goalscoring record but also for his strong personality and dedicated approach to football which fit in with the spirit that ten Hag is building within the squad.
Weghorst previously played at Besiktas on loan, and his move back to the Premier League comes after his impressive performance during the World Cup for the Netherlands.
