According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal has reached an agreement with Leandro Trossard on personal terms for a January transfer to the Emirates Stadium.
Trossard’s move away from Brighton seems likely as he has fallen out with manager Roberto De Zerbi and his agent has criticized De Zerbi’s treatment of Trossard.
The agent, Josy Comhair, stated that Trossard and De Zerbi have not spoken in four weeks and that a transfer is the most reasonable solution for both parties.
Romano reports that negotiations are advanced and an official bid is ready for a permanent move. Trossard is a versatile player who can play as a left-winger, wing-back, or false nine.
