Arsenal eight points clear after rampant derby win at Tottenham

Arsenal defeated Tottenham 2-0 in the north London derby on Sunday, extending their Premier League lead to 8 points.

The match was aided by an own-goal by Tottenham goalkeeper, Hugo Lloris, in the 14th minute. Martin Odegaard also scored for Arsenal in the 36th minute.

Tottenham improved in the second half but were unable to score, with Aaron Ramsdale making 7 saves to keep the hosts at bay.

This win brings Arsenal closer to their first Premier League title in 19 years. However, there was a heated altercation after the final whistle when a young Tottenham supporter appeared to kick Ramsdale as he was collecting his water bottle. Despite this, Arsenal players and staff celebrated the win with the away end.
