Arnaut Danjuma joins Tottenham on loan

Tottenham has acquired forward Arnaut Danjuma on loan from Villarreal until the end of the current season.

The Netherlands player was expected to join Premier League competitor Everton, but instead joined the Spurs.

This move will improve Antonio Conte’s attacking options, as several key players have been dealing with injuries.

Danjuma previously played in England with Bournemouth between 2019 and 2021 and had a successful stint in La Liga with Villarreal last season, scoring 16 goals in all competitions.

However, he has had limited opportunities this season due to a muscle injury.
