Arsenal sign Kiwior from Spezia

Arsenal Football Club has announced the signing of Jakub Kiwior, a 22-year-old Polish defender, from Spezia for an initial £20 million.

The transfer is in line with the club’s efforts to strengthen their squad as they bid for the Premier League title under the guidance of Manager Mikel Arteta.

This is Arsenal’s second signing of the January transfer window, following the arrival of Leandro Trossard from Brighton.

Jakub has previously been associated with Anderlecht’s academy and has had stints with Slovakia’s Zeleziarne Podbrezova and MSK Zilina before joining Spezia in 2021.

Both Sporting Director Edu and Manager Mikel Arteta have welcomed Jakub to the club and look forward to working with him.
