Isak nets late Newcastle winner against Fulham

Isak scored a last-minute winner for Newcastle United in their Premier League match against Fulham after Mitrovic had scored an illegal goal from the penalty spot.

Joelinton, who had been arrested for drink driving, was named in Newcastle’s starting lineup despite the charges. The coach, Eddie Howe, had previously been unsure if he would select him.

The Fulham coach, Marco Silva, made three changes to the team that had previously beaten Chelsea.

The first half ended in a 0-0 draw, but in the 68th minute, Fulham was awarded a penalty after a VAR review.

Mitrovic took the penalty but made contact with the ball twice, so it was disallowed.

Finally, with only one minute remaining in the match, Wilson assisted Isak in scoring the winning goal.
