Leeds United make an offer to buy Ezzedine Onahi

Leeds United are considering signing Moroccan international midfielder Azzedine Ounahi, according to a report from Foot Mercato.

The 22-year-old was a standout player for Morocco during the 2022 FIFA World Cup, displaying excellent technical skills and flair on the pitch. It is not known whether Angers, Ounahi’s current team, will accept Leeds’ bid for the midfielder.

If successful, Ounahi’s acquisition would be a boost for Leeds, who are currently 14th in the league and hoping to improve their performance in the second half of the season.

Additionally, Leeds are reportedly close to signing French forward Georginio Rutter from Hoffenheim, which would strengthen their attack.

Ounahi has the potential to develop further and be a key player for Leeds under manager Jesse Marsch.

However, it is uncertain if Ounahi would be satisfied with joining a team at Leeds’ level after his success in the World Cup.
